About Us
Since 2011 H&D has been providing custom Carpentry and Masonry services to the lower Hudson Valley community. The company is owned and operated by Dave Dixon who has more than 30 years experience in the construction industry, having held a variety of different positions.
Starting as a mason in his early years, Dave joined the carpenters union in 1995. As a union carpenter for 16 years Dave worked on hundreds of different projects from residential housing to large office buildings. Having developed a diverse set of skills he decided it was time to start his own company and H&D Carpentry and Masonry was born.
When you work with H&D, you work with Dave Dixon directly. Not only is he taking your call to discuss your project, he's the one on the job every day doing the work, so you're working directly with the company owner. For larger projects, where additional resources are needed, Dave has a number of sub-contractors he can call on.
